Jireh Farm--Summer Day Camp

Jireh Farm is pleased to offer our riding students (or prospective riding students) ages 6 and up the opportunity to spend some fun-filled summer days improving their horsemanship and learning about horse care while making new friends. Each camp day we will enjoy two riding times, a snack provided by Jireh Farm, bounce time in the moonwalk at the playground, arts & crafts, water sports (e.g. water balloons, water hose wars) and petting zoo visits. We will play games on and off horseback, take buggy rides, go on trail rides, and have a campfire for s'mores. Awards will be given for our horseback games as well as to campers each session who exhibit the most cheerful attitude, best horsemanship, most improved riding, best riding, dirtiest camper, and cleanest camper.

We have scheduled six 3-day camp sessions to take place on the following dates:

• Session 1   June 5th, 6th, 7th
  
• Session 2   June 9th, 10th, 11th
  
• Session 3   June 19th, 20th, 21st
  
• Session 4   June 23rd, 24th, 25th
  
• Session 5   July 3rd, 4th, 5th
  
• Session 6   July 7th, 8th, 9th
  

Camp days will begin at 9:00 am and end at 3:00 pm. Campers may elect to attend as many or few camp sessions as they choose. In the interest of safety and quality riding instruction, the number of campers will be limited to 6 per session. The cost of each session will be $125 for Jireh Farm Members or $150 for non-members. A deposit of $50 per camper per camp session is required to make a reservation. The balance is due by the first day of camp.
In the event of inclement weather, camp dates will be rescheduled. If a camp session has fewer than 3 campers who have paid deposits within one week of that session's first day, that session may be cancelled.

What to bring:
Lunch and extra water
Riding boots or shoes
Riding helmet (if owned)
Riding chaps (if owned)

Please wear play clothes. We WILL be getting wet and/or dirty. If you don't own chaps, wear long pants for your riding times as the saddle can pinch your legs if you ride without leg protection.
